2021 NEWS

Families of East and West Norriton Little Leagues-

We are excited to announce that East and West Norriton Little Leagues will combine forces in 2021 to offer a robust recreational Little League Baseball program, together as NORRITON BASEBALL.

If 2020 has taught us anything, it’s that we are a part of a community of resilience and promise and as we look ahead to 2021, we plan to carry those same traits with us to the Little League ball fields for many years to come.  For decades, our children have shared fields, played either with or against each other, and we have worked towards a common goal of providing the haven of Little League baseball to them.  In 2021 and hopefully beyond, this will not change.  The opportunity has materialized to make our league(s) more robust and offer even more to our children.  With the support of our two primary Townships, we welcome the opportunity with open arms.

Having 133 years of combined tradition, this venture is reinforced with the rich history of both Leagues as we continue to support the largest youth sports organization in the world;  Little League of America.

What does this mean for Spring 2021?

Registration will open on December 15th for the 2021 season.  Any child who resides in or who’s school is within the boundaries of East or West Norriton Little Leagues is eligible for NORRITON BASEBALL.  All of the registered players (and coaches) from both East and West Norriton Little Leagues will be intermingled to create teams for the 2021 recreational season.   Any child that attends any of the schools below, this is your Little League.

Arcola Middle School
Cole Manor Elementary School
Gotwals Elementary School
Eagleville Elementary School
East Norriton Middle School
Eisenhower Science and Technology Leadership Academy

This decision, while an enormous benefit to our Leagues, comes on the heels of surrounding programs announcements of de-commitment to Little League, potential league foldings, and larger leagues swallowing other smaller organizations for one reason or another; Conshohocken has switched away from Little League, Bridgeport in flux, Flourtown-Erdenheim announcing its merger with Oreland, ARA and Methacton merging.  Both leagues felt that it was the correct time to take advantage of this opportunity.

All players from Teeball though Major/National Divisions and including the Juniors/Seniors programs, will register to their previous respective league  at  www.WNLL.com or www.ENLLbaseball.com

Jointly, a series of Zoom meetings will be held to lay out specifics of this venture and field any questions or concerns beginning on January 12th; details forthcoming.

For now, be excited to continue to be a part of something special; Little League Baseball.
